Mike Brewer and Edd China are the two very engaging hosts. In this case, Mike is the Producer so that made the choice easy. The show doesn't pretend to be a collector car show. It is to entertain and possibly to help the average punter get dependable transportaiton or make the most they can out of a used car. Most of their advice is common sense, which is all too uncommon among many sellers and buyers.
I bet more than half the people on our forum couldn't do small patch body work as well as Mr. China. They never calculate any value for labor but it doesn't matter. For the purposes of televison production there is no need to turn a profit, but there is a need to stay on schedule. Sell it to the first person who'll agree to sign a release to go on camera. Yes the show is a bit like high school with money, but it's just for a laugh and a short, entertaining diversion.
It's only TV, nobody dies.
