Removing right fender W108
« on: July 20, 2010, 10:06:04 »
Sorry, this is not a W113 question.
I have problems to remove the right fender from my W108. I removed all the the screws and bolts (i hope) but still it's a problem to remove it.
It's a bit loose but it won't come of.
Anyone has some tips for me? Should i remove the "glue" first (don't know the english word for the substance they used between the panels).
Do i have to pull it upwards of to the front of the car?
Any help appreciate.
Thanks.

I removed one in a parts yard. exceedingly tough. Not just the adhesive glue, but there were one or two HIDDEN screws where the metal is folded near the A pillar, underneath the windsheild, near the door.  :search and scour for the screws, as otherwise you'll bend the panel...good luck
