This is just getting rediculous....

I know the price of some of our cars has gone up in recent year but this is
really going too far.  This car isn't even safe to drive.    I really hope no one gets taken by these guys.

Looks like a fine piece of 'Chip-pendale' furniture.

That's why they're called 'floor boards'.....

Well I guess they don't try and hide the plywood floor but it certainy is embarassing that someone would take such short measures.  I wonder what the photos don't show?

At the very least they could of veneered the boards with an exotic wood like burled walnut or zebrano wood!

"Previous owner removed the floors" and the entire sills and the engine(rad and heater not hooked up). Who knows what else. But at least it is an "original California car".

I am hoping that this is the " Before " of a before and after shoot! Paint,Chrome and interior look good. I don't think that is an original colour but it looks good.  :o

I don't think it's that bad. They sell a hammer finish rattle can at the Home Depot that would cover those boards easily and if you use enough it might even be a little sticky around the edges to reinforce the floor boards. Yes, I know a hammer finish isn't technically the correct, original finish for the floor boards, but it IS only a $19500 car. And it's a SoCal car at that! :-)...

You have to hand it to the dealer though. He's pretty honest about the car. Aside from the fact that his description sounds a little like the previous owner had ordered the Pagoda with the "removable floors" option and decided to leave them out, they are showing all the pictures to tell the story. I like how they are making a point of showing that the hood is a non-matching numbers piece ;-)..... (Alas, not mine though)....
