Tom Collitt is a Pagoda specialist in LA. Run a search on his name in the forums and you're sure to find his contact info.

Would highly second the recommendation for Tom.  He was wonderful, very knowledgeable and very reasonable, but with that of course comes very busy!  I have moved to the east coast and my car and I really miss him.

Hi Everyone

I'm still right here at (323) 251-0987. I had to pull myself away from working on a Pagoda to respond :-) Thank you to those who are keeping me in mind (Alfred et al)

Best, Tom

If you are still looking for a qualified shop in the SoCal area, I highly recommend Scott Melnick at Auto Engineering and Classic Mercedes Benz in Calabasas.  I have had my 68 280sl in Scott's shop twice . . . from Spokane, Washington! Scott has years of experience working on nothing but classic MB's. There is no aspect of repair/restoration that he can't handle. The first time I drove into his shop (located in Malibu at the time) I pulled in next to a 300sl Gullwing, and a Cabriolet undergoing a complete restoration, along with three or four 113's.  Call Scott at 818-222-1800.
