Last week was pretty funny - we were shooting a series of new commercials for the Great Belt Bridge that ties the two main part of Denmark together, the last of the films is about a family stuck in a traffic jam in their tired little Fiat Uno that all of a sudden transforms into a Mercedes 220SE Convertible that takes off, flies over the bridge, the traffic jam etc. - all to the tunes of a Mary Poppins-inspired song that will probably annoy the **** out of most people this summer. The shoot was done in a hangar on an abandoned Royal Danish Air Force base on a giant green-screen and will be superimposed on some great road footage as well as a helicopter shot. As my wife had impounded the daily driver, I had to drive my Pagoda the whole week, which was really nice since the weather was great and the locations were situated close to some really spectacular, winding roads with great scenery - I put almost 500 kilometers (310 miles) on the car during the week without a glitch. I have snapped a few pics of the process (had a hard time holding the camera steady when the fork lift lifted the entire front of the car) and I will post a YouTube link to the film once we're done with the editing, CGI, voice-overs, grading, scanning etc, etc...
After a week like that, being back at the office really sucks :-)
Enjoy!
