Hub pad replacement
« on: August 11, 2011, 19:03:41 »
Where can I buy the MB tex or leather that I need to replace the hub pad on the steering wheel.  I see the very nice procedures in this forum to do the replacement, but I would like to know where to get the product.  Does anyone know the thickness of the leather that works best, since I note that a thin leather is easier to work with according to the instructions.  Many thanks.

Hi--

Look up "leather pieces" on eBay. You'll find many choices by size, texture, and color.

If you're looking for ivory I can send you a leather piece that is a pretty good match (postage price only).
