I'm stripping down a 3,46 axle to put onto my car. It's not a quick process, as the axle is in bad shape.

I've managed to get the carrier arm of the bush, but can't get the bush off the pin.

Using the diagram in the link, I need to get part 151 off part 152. I cannot see what's holding it in place, but it won't budge.

If anyone could offer any advice I'd be grateful.

Make sure to remove the nut and axle "keyed screw/bolt".
Refer to the SLS "152" repair kit.  Thne look at "235310 key screw swing axle".
This key screw locks the pin in place.

Thanks, Bob.

I'm going to post photos now I've found my camera.

I now have even more questions.

so i am guessing that the carrier arm is still attached to the axle?
if it is, when you take off the bolt that locks the pin in place, place a appropriate sized socket with an extension and hit it with a hammer.
the axle pin should come right out the back and the old carrier mount will just fall out.
pictures would be helpful!

Shouldn't that justy slide ff ther shaft after you remove the front cover on the diff housing? I assume you are trying to replace the bushing bewteen the main hinge shaft and the carrier that mounts in the trunk?

I've done this with the axle still in the car on a 6.3   Easier than pulling the whole axle but not that easy.  :-\
