Would a white 1966 230SL have a maroon/red interior? I note that my seats and door panels were re-done in 2005. They seem to be some sort of maroon/burgundy type of color. They are mb tex. The data card says the exterior is white and the interior is red. But "red" in my car looks sort of maroon. The seats seem to match the sun visor which appears to be original.

Is the red #132? If not, which red?
I believe the sun visors were always off white no matter what the interior color is.

Engelen's book shows Hellrot (bright or clear red) 122 MB-tex going with 050 and 158 White cars.
And as stated above, the sun visors were usually (always?) a cream off-white color to match the interior of the hard top.

I guess I need to look up the card and see if my car is a 050 white. A previous owner would have had to go to a lot of effort to convert the inside to maroon.
