Beautiful photo's Michael.  I love the colour.  Two questions, where did you get the steering wheel cover (looks custom made) and does the right exterior mirror actually serve any purpose?  I would assume the pillar would be in the way.

The steering wheel and center pad were covered in leather to match my interior.  It was hand stiched and (I'm a little prejudiced here) looks even better in person! 

I mounted the right side mirror for esthetic purposes only.  It does no good in traffic but actually does help a little when parking if I lean over to the right a little.

The color is original,  DB 162H Blue Grey.

Hey Norm, I always enjoy looking at pictures of your car.  Very classy.  I didn't put 2 and 2 together as I see automotive aficionado is also from Texas.  Did you do the hand stitching?   As I said looks great.

Can you let us know the supplier of the leather seat covers and interior, if you are happy with them?

The interior leather was from GAHH  http://www.gahh.com/ but the work was done in CA before I got the car.

The steering wheel was done here in Houston last year by an interior specialist who has done several Pagoda wheels.  I think he was raised by someone from Germany that used to work at the Mercedes factory.  As I understand it the guy was an interior specialist that was only allowed to work on "special order" cars and had to leave the country to be allowed to practice his craft.......  Or maybe that was another story
