A recently ordered a replacement defrost duct from K & K - left hand side.
It duly arrived - btw - they are made of plastic - not cardboard (no big deal) BUT it was missing the two flanges at the bottom which allow it to be bolted to the heater box.
I checked with K & K and they very apologetically advised that they didn`t realise they were missing and checked with the manufacturer to be advised that the existing hardware should be transferred across from the old to the new. Not easy as they are bonded to the old, plus one of mine is missing (one of the reasons for replacement.
So.............has anyone been caught like this before and fixed the problem, or does anyone have a supplier for new ducts that come complete with lugs, or does anyone have a used left side duct that they want to sell.
