I just repaired this pump but now I am confused I checked archives but this looks like a restamp.. Ideas? I thought it was from a late 1970 but now confused Was going to save as a backup for my 1971. see pictures

Very curious. My guess would be that it was rebuilt to be an R24Y per the over-stamp. It's probably nothing more than a change in the cam. You might ask Hans @ H&R, or Pacific Fuel Injection to see if re-stamping like that is/was a common practice.
