Now that just about every one of the original contributors and buyers have obtained their copies of Pagoda Style, it is time for me to say a little about the contributing artists.
First and foremost, is
Yuriy Shevchuk. You can read a bit about him in the book, and follow him on Facebook:

I actually found about 6 artists whose work I liked, and who popped up easily in a search. Many had no W113 artwork, and most were too busy or disinterested in the project. Yuriy turned into a painting machine: he had no work, but kept painting, presenting about ten different paintings for me to choose from. I chose what I considered to be the best, but it is the best out of a stunning offering. Oh yes, he did these paintings simply to participate in the project. Do you like his page? Get on line and tell him! Post something to his Facebook page, friend him, commission him, buy something.
There is talk from time to time, of commissioning paintings of one's car; Yuriy would be a fine choice. Take a look at his portfolio...

Next in line of course is our friend
John Hayes of England. John, too did not have any work of W113s, but did a couple of renderings. It is a totally different style than Yuriy of course. Sadly, the link in the book is stale, but John has a new link. You can find him at:

Last but not least is
Terry Davey. Now, the precise health and whereabouts of Mr. Davey are unknown at the moment; but I was in contact with Haynes Publishing throughout the process and they were kind enough to allow publication of the 280 SL cut-away by Mr. Davey. If you like this kind of art--extreme technical rendering, you can buy the book! Just do a search for "Haynes: The Classic Cutaways" and I'm sure you'll find it at many booksellers.
These three contributors went out of there way to help the book along--only for "thank yous" and copies of the finished product. Keep them in your thoughts when you want to acquire some art!
