Seat Belt Options
« on: January 18, 2012, 03:39:22 »
Just bought a 1970 280 SL. It has a really strange shoulder belt that instead of running across your body runs almost vertically down the left shoulder. Does anyone know of some better options and this one seems pretty ineffective and uncomfortable.

Thanks

Perhaps all you need to do is lengthen the shoulder strap and shorten the buckle/receiving end. I noticed with my car that this adjustment positioned the shoulder strap more cross body. Just a thought.
