There was guy from Maryland selling the kits on Ebay last year and when I inquired he was going to get back to me with more info. I have never heard from him again although I still have his email address.

They have been putting the advertisement on Ebay for about two months now for a 6 speed gearbox and that it fits the W113 but I  have not heard anything about them nor what it is exactly.  Looking at the photo I cannot see how it fits nor how the linkages connect and it also looks like it has an electronic speedo drive!!!

I spent about three hours last night trying to figure out where that gearbox came from. I can't find it anywhere( and I am good at finding stuff) Best guess is E39 BMW(5 series) 1997-2003.  Looks like they sawed off the bell housing and welded the 113 bell housing to it.  If that is the correct gearbox the input shaft looks to be the same coarse spline as the 113 and Getrag 265. Only question is do you really need a gear that high?

I wouldn't consider anything under the 3,300 - 3,100 RPM range in high gear. The 113 engine makes all of its power above 3,000 RPM so I wouldn't go below that.
