Power steering fluid

I must have a leak somewhere but not ready to have it fixed yet as I am upstate ny and my mechanic is in brooklyn - my power steering reservoir is low - The fluid is redish color -what type of fluid do i use to top it off - ATF -what kind ? or power steering fluid - any help is appreciated

Hi, I just use NAPA "ATF". The books don't specify anything more, from what I've found. Ron
