Well - I removed the 10mm bolt but it looks like the "clamp" on this column is integral to the column, ie. the clamp doesn't rotate. Also, the ignition switch is still protruding through the dash hole by 1/2" or so. So it isn't going to rotate in that position. And, the switch housing behind the dash is almost against the stiffener between the speedo opening and the heater controls, restricting it from being pulled out of the column at this point. I've got it wrong somehow, huh? You may have to "break it down" a little further for me. BTW - all instruments are removed so access is as good as it will get.
