Parts is parts and costs are costs. I think when the CC gets something in, they don't willy nilly start changing things unless it might be to remove some non MB items. The Euro light change is something lots of US cars seem to have, it's been discussed here often.
If I were the CC, however, I'd have pulled those off, and replaced with the US. Save the Euro ones for a future Euro model that will come through their shop one day...but that's just me.
