Automobile Mag article on Pagoda
« on: November 27, 2012, 06:50:44 »
Just received my January edition of Automobile and came across a two page article on the W113.  Pretty light but complimentary and nice to see our cars receiving a bit of attention.

Would that be Euro headlights on a USA-spec model, or some USA-spec features on a Euro?  ;)  I think the former...

I agree Mike I noticed the same.  The car was said to be out of the Classic Center's collection so I was surprised. Could the allure of the euro lights trump originality, there must be some other explanation ???  Tom H.??

Parts is parts and costs are costs.  I think when the CC gets something in, they don't willy nilly start changing things unless it might be to remove some non MB items.  The Euro light change is something lots of US cars seem to have, it's been discussed here often.

If I were the CC, however, I'd have pulled those off, and replaced with the US.  Save the Euro ones for a future Euro model that will come through their shop one day...but that's just me. ;)
