Somedays I also have a hard choice to make regarding which vehicle to drive, and generally it (it should) comes down to the following: (in this order) errands necessary on the way, number of passengers, the weather, my mood and willingness to deal with traffic.
Unlike today where I should have driven my truck but noooo, I didn't watch the weather forecast - I now have to ride home on my scooter and I didn't pack a rain jacket nor a full face helmet and its just teaming down with rain.
On a Saturday or Sunday morning where the planets are all in alignment and I have no errands, no passengers and the weather is perfect, I try to ride my motorcycles, but I can justify that as I need to keep them working and living on the wet coast of Canada any good day for a ride should be taken. My Pagoda has windshield wipers and a roof so if the weather turns inclement no big deal. However lately I find that I usually have a lineup of passengers wanting to join me as my daughters both love riding in my car, so to make a long story short - I have only done 2 weekend jaunts on my motorcycles - and my pagoda 7 times (always with a daughter in passenger seat).
