Kind of a rat's nest of rules and regulations depending on where you are!  But, we have some extremely well known restorers of all marques in California; some well known Mercedes restorers in Massachusetts, and do I need to mention the quality work of RM in Ontario?  Everyone has some rule to deal with regarding automotive refinishing!

Not that I care, but RM is now the largest vintage auto auction house in the world. B - J has the largest auction event in the world ( Scottsdale )  but by no means does it have the most sales nor the most significant cars.

You took some of us to Rob Myers (RM?) place in Ontario in 2006--what a treat.  Rob has an excellent auction staff, fabulous website, and has inserted his auction operation into most of the large Concours in the USA.  He also serves on the boards of some of these Concours thus has fully embraced the business of this hobby.  I've never met him, but he must be quite a guy.
