Heated rear window - in the soft top?????

Hello!

I reviewed the posts related to heated rear window - everything clear. My car has the appropriate option code on the plate, it has the place for switch, it has the wiring and the sleeve in the leather panel - so everything is there.

However it also has the option code saying that the car was ordered with no hard top. What should I guess? The owner had a hardtop from another car? Or is there a heating for the window in the soft top? I have never seen anything like this  - does it exist? And if so - could you kindly describe how it looks like and what is it composed of?

Pawel,

There was no heated rear window in the soft top.  Have you also looked at your data card and does it record the options fitted during production and still say no hard top?

I am sorry - I got it all wrong!

I have the code in box 41 and on the plate "5", which means no soft top (sorry, here I got it wrong).

The 249 is both on the plate and on the Datacard - everything is clear, thanks!
