Car was finished in Sept of 2010 ( a little over 3 months after we brought it down). The happy owner and Ernie in the last picture.

very nice Pagoda. I understand that the before part 2 means there will be more and even a part "after" would follow. Am I correct?

just a question: at the bottom you mention that he car is a 280 sl unrestored and original. From front and side lights I gather it is a US version, yet the bumpers are European style?

 Hello Stan
I have posted (probably way ttoo many) after pictures on the Forum over the past three years. No option on the bumpers, that is the way they came. If you are referring to the over riders, they started installing them on US cars later.

BTW, we have driven the Corniche above Monte Carlo and will be back in the south of France later this year and will be sure to take that drive again (not in my Pagoda though:-)

John,
I am trying to convince my wife to go with me to Wilingen (Euro Pagoda event) and then from 12 August, drive down tough Napoleon Route to Monte Carlo and on Corniche along the French Riviera coast. I may see you there ;). Interesting pictures guaranteed :)
