Looking for fuel pump alternatives

Hello folks.
My fuel pump (the taller one) is leaking a few drops fuel trough the small pipe.
I like to buy an alternative and found this one.
It should be correct for our cars, but the operating pressure is 73 PSI. The pressure from the original pump should be 16 PSI (0.8-1.1 atm), so says the BBB.
Can i install this pump without any problems, or should i search for a pump with less pressure?
Is there anybody who knows a (better) alternative?

You can fit that pump without any problem. The fuel pressure regulator will simply dump the excess pressure back to the tank.
I've done it many times but with an even later pump from a 124, including the carrier.

My 250SL arrived running on a Carter fuel pump.
I am currently overhauling it, so I removed the Carter and got a brand new tall pump off ebay.

Thanks, German is not the language i speak very well, but i'll keep the Pierburg pump in mind.
