They will sell me the whole thing for $800...not sure I want the hassle of parting it out

This is the euro model. You should definitely get the headlights. They will sell for a very good price.

The 250 engine is not that common, so if someone needs one, this may be the opportunity.

If the car has a manual trans, you could get the trans, shifter mechanism, pedal assembly, flywheel etc. as a conversion kit from auto to manual.

You could get the front kingpin assemblies if they have no play as this may save some work and money to someone who needs overhauling them.

Lots of good parts to pick on this "sedan of the era".   W113 parts galore!   The valuable horns, engine including the cylinder head, injection pump, power steering pump cold start valve, sensors, relays, steering box, automatic trans, hub caps beauty rings, very expensive exhaust manifolds, steel wheels, brake and suspension parts, interior switches, radio, expensive steering wheel, alternator, starter,AC compressor, NA interior window cranks, and more.  And yes those sedan euro headlights are worth a pretty penny. They fit the W109, W108,W111 sedans and also the W111 and W112 coupes and cabs of the era.

Also, would have the complete pagoda-compatable rear diff.  Possibly a 3.69

I'm single ;)
Yes there is rust and while the interior was perfect someone left it get wet. I'd bet the frame rails are rusty. The rear door corners are as are the wheel wells and dog legs
