Did you by chance check the Technical Manual? ----> http://www.sl113.org/wiki/Electrical/Battery

Good luck!

I did

It would help if manual listed maximum dimensions of space

It just lists original Varta specs and interstate

It shows a table with dimensions so you should have all the info you require. Or?

Thanks

Can anyone  confirm max length of battery tray?

Table shows 10.75"

Will 10.9 fit?

Will 10.9 fit?

Kayvan, If I was you I would do one or the other as shown below;

A) Drive by the Sears Auto Centre and have your friendly Tech come out with a measuring tape and check if it would fit.

or

B) If you have a measurement tape handy, why not open the hood and take a measurement. You are looking only for 0.15" slightly more then 1/8" you can almost eyeball that I would think from what you have in place now.

Good Luck!

BTW. It would be helpful to know what year and model you are actually driving. You can add this information under your Signature under Profile.

In the menu selection above ^^^ Click on --->Profile then under "Modify Profile" on the left of the screen click on ---->Forum Profile Information then scroll down to Signature and add your car details in the Signature field. If you do this then people here on the forum can help you out better, since there are differences between the different models.
