They are very similar but may not be exactly the same. One thing I've found is the harness coming from the center instrument cluster has pins in it that are not always the same size as the 230 or the 280. I've been in a few heated discussions about this regarding the fact their are three different ones when experts swear there are only two.
'' Yeah, well I've seen three different types. Large and small pins are the most common but there's a third type that's an intermeadiate size. ''
This usually results in comments about the parts books or EPC says........
