The MB Club of the UK Gazette (October issue) contains several interesting articles, but most notably there is a 2-pager celebrating the 50th anniversary of Pagoda. It relates the fate of one particular Pagoda car that Ian Keers, the author, was able to follow over the last several years. The October issue also mentions certain events that took place recently in the UK, such as the SL Day (in "From steap to SLs").
Although the Gazette is supposed to cover all MB vehicles, the vintage cars always dominate the stage. Moreover, the last issue gives a lot of space to Pagodas. While waiting at doctor's for a visit, I counted numerous pictures as illustrations of various texts (I counted 24 photos with at least one Pagoda), but also advertisements (further 12 photos) and classified (17 photos). Not bad for a 84 pages magazine! In fact the October issue has the most of it, but in earier ones Pagodas were always well (over)represented.
If I can get the green light from the publishers (which I just asked), I will add the scan of the above mentioned article to this post.
