Original Matchbox 230SL then 45 years later a real 280SL

I was looking at a web site that had a large collection of 60's models Matchbox Cars. I noticed a beige 230SL and I immediately realized I had that exact car as a 7 or 8 year old. I went down into my basement and got out my Matchbox case. Sure enough there was my 230SL. I took really good care of my collection so they are in great shape.
Made me think it was a neat coincidence that I would purchase a car that I had a model of as a child. So my 230SL is a one owner low play mileage and my 69 280SL (I purchased it April 2012) is a two owner with 51,000 miles.

David,
I was the oldest of five kids. Four of them boys. None of my toys survived the hand-me-down process :-(.
The little soldiers, the Lincoln logs, the slot car track and cars are all gone. Oh well, at least I have the real thing now!
