Hello everyone,
This is my first post to this site. The seats (with their tracks) of my 1964 230 SL are away in another city getting recovered in leather. My new floor panels have just been welded into place and it's time to weld in the brackets that hold up the rear end of the seat tracks. My welder needs to know the exact distance from the front seat crossmember to the bracket. I perused 40-odd pages of posts on this site and did see that that is 10.5 inches, but I am still a bit nervous: does anyone have the exact measurements between the actual screw holes in the seat tracks, both front-to-back and side-to-side? Thanks very much in advance!
