Doubt about an engine

For Stick: I did search on the forum but this thread was the only one that focuses on the topic. Can you help in refining the search?

Dante, if you are in a thread, and use the Search function, the system will ONLY search that thread. If you are in a section, the search will ONLY search that section. To search the entire forum, you need to go to the top level of the forum (click on the leftmost trail  crumb) and then enter your search again.

It seems that a casting number beginning with 129 does not necessary mean that the cylinder block comes from a 250.
