Sad day for many of us

I was notified this morning that Drew Tibcken of Heritage Woodworks passed away this morning after a battle with cancer.


 I know many of you have used heritage as I have in the past.  I am not certain if the business will continue on, but for now it is still operating.

 Drew was a fine gentleman and a real friend.  He will be missed.

Very sad indeed. I did not ever meet the man, but his work was exemplary.

About 17 years ago my wife and I drove to Andrews, NC (beautiful drive through the NC mountains). We stopped by Drew's shop on a whim and ended up spending a couple of hours. Had a great time and was amazed at his knowledge of all things Mercedes. A few years later he refinished all the wood in my 108 sedan. Drew was a true craftsman and a great guy. He will indeed be missed!
