Bumper Sticker
« on: October 25, 2013, 18:09:11 »
I'm not a fan of bumper stickers on cars, surely not my Pagoda...but I picked this one up at a trade show yesterday and thought some might enjoy it! :)

Mahle made our pistons. When was the last time you saw a bumper sticker for your piston maker? Clearly from the bumper sticker shown, they also make engine bearings--but I don't know if our engine bearings were typically made by Mahle...

N.B. Their US headquarters is quite close to my home, and they just went through a massive expansion, one I'm painfully aware of as it required a large road construction project in front to accomodate their new buildings. No doubt they paid for it, but didn't make passage any easier!  >:(

On my trooper and my land cruiser I have my SARS credentials on the inside of the windshield, but nothing on my pagoda!

I got one "South of the Border", you can pick up those on Interstate 95 at the North Carolina/South Carolina border at South of the Border complex.  (Kinda redneck place).  Those snowbirds that go to Florda every year should know where it is, I see the sticker on their RVs all the time.  The sticked gives the Pagoda a nice look as if you are a I-95 snowbird.

On the one hand, I think bumper stickers spoil the class of a nice car. So I don't put them on. But on the other hand, I love the humour. My choice would be "Philosophy ain't worth a damn if it don't fit on a bumper sticker."

Zoegrlh (Bob)....Please remove the South of the Border Bumper sticker!  We Carolinians AKA South Cakalakie just laugh at how bad of a tourist trap that place is. "Pedro says" is one of the cheesiest places and phrases.  No offense but South of the Border stickers = tacky Northerner who just got scammed by a dirt bag hole in the wall tourist trap.

Please again this post is made with no offense meant but South of the Border is the worst tourist trap I can think of.

The best one I've ever seen read "We are spending our Children's Inheritance" It was on a Caravan as some of you know it or a Camper as we know it up here :)

I wonder if those Caravans (pictured below) have any Bumper Stickers :)
