Heater
« on: March 07, 2016, 09:06:01 »
Last year I bougth a 1964 230SL. It looks great, but the heater is no good. The air distributor is missing, and the wire cables are stuck.

I have now managed to take out the heater core. I have also taken off the cap and the grille on top of the fire wall, and I found that the flaps under were broken.

I now wander if there is someone who can tell me how the draining is working. I have found two holes, one at each side, where the water can drain. But how (or where) do the holes end? How can I see if they er stuck, or wide open of rust?

I'm looking forward to have som advise on the matter.
