It could also be  W112 300SE, given the wheel arch and side chrome trim.

Looks to be a US model because of the bullet turn signals.  Probably a '67 and earlier 250/300SE because of the lack of side markers (US models had that on 280SE), door mounted side mirror, wood binnacle and shiny chrome horn ring.

Since there are many cars that use the repo wheel arch, hard to tell if 300 or 250SE. An up close inspection of the arch would tell you if it is original.

Isn't the side mirror later than 67?  But as you pointed out the orange bullet lights are 67, certainly earlier than the mirror.  something only enthusiasts would knotice.

Fully agree with your observations, Gentlemen..., :)

But having a closer look on the steering wheel, which Michael grabs, the car appears to be a pre '68 250 SE or 300 SE.
Wheelarch and stips chrome looks factory to me, not aftermarket.
But you could order those (factory-delivered) add-ons "on special demand" basically for all W111 coupé and cabriolets.
Hubcaps and rearview mirrors say '68 (or later).
The car seems to have some mixtures of the details.
Let's see the VIN, then we know for sure ... :D ;D

It has the side molding that's exclusive to the 300SE Cabriolet which makes it a 112 body car
