spring evening motoring

recently we had a short but pleasant opportunity to do some motoring (or Pagoding as we say here).

Nothing special in itself, but this is an occasion to show the car of one of this forum's members - namely Aligator (to the right on the picture).
This is his Pagoda's (still on temporary plates) first ever street appearance. Artur is in the center and yours truly to the left...

Then the second picture shows Stacja Mercedes 2014, a summer coffee shop under construction (to be opened on June 14).
It is arranged by Mercedes for the second time, in central spot spot in Warsaw. It promotes the marque as well as certain mainstream and niche artists, often without any connection to car business. Several events exposing vintage mercedes cars are planned, and any ways, for us it is like an informal summer headquarters.

 Great photo of you fellows and your beautiful SL's. Look's like you will have nice "coffee shop" to hang out at this summer. Kudos to MB for doing that.

That coffee shop is a great idea and smart thinking by MB to get loyalty.  Wish they would do that here.

as a Club soon to be incorporated you can start lobbying at your place to get one built:D....
But seriously: in fact Mercedes outsources the bar and their Marketing department takes care of the event flow. If the MB guys in your place wanted it they could easily copy the idea

In any case, they are happy co-operating with groups like ours that feed the scene with attractive vintage cars that make a difference compared to an usual MB dealership.
