engine running too reach

Hello,

I would like to get your advice about a problem in my 280sl pagoda 71' model. The troubleshooting occurs at the idling too reach and spark plugs black. What could be the cause?
Thank you very much.

The list of possibilities is endless. We need more info and you need to check the basics - its either getting too much fuel or too little spark. Start with a fresh tune up if the ignition system items are old before messing with any of the fuel injection stuff.

Good point about ignition.  If that all checks out, the usual culprit is the Warm Running Device sticking in the "cold" position.  Do a Search, possibly the most popular topic on the Forum.
