Why do you think (when I looked) there are no bids!

While messing about with cars is IMHO is OK, remember that's how MG started... However I would of used Mercedes parts, like a 6.3litre v8 .

I have a big old BMW 3.0CSI which I am updating by using parts from a 1992 5-series (cheap as chips here) by adding such things as better brakes, ABS, Modern ECU etc then I end up with a "classic" daily driver

Very interesting. I would raise the front end it looks too low but what a sleeper. Too bad its not a 6.3. or 4.5 V8 conversion
