Up grade to 55 amp alt

Im upgrading to the 55 amp alternator from a early 230sl 35 amp.  I have to go from the nut and bolt connectors to a plug as I understand it. Getting the alternator from Buds benz. 250sl 55 amp version. I've reviewed the forum for instructions on the rewiring and cant really follow them. Some links are down. Anyone have step by step instructions for this. Thanks Chuck
