Not too much different than a 230SL I went to see nearby last year...owned by an older woman, a bit eccentric, whose father had owned it. She was adamant about how much it was worth (way beyond any reality) but the reality was that it was, due to its extensive deterioration, nearly unrestorable. Further, it was NOT MOVABLE, and sadly, she lived up a narrow, winding 2-track dirt driveway and had someone with a lot of money and little brains actually bought the thing, I'd have no idea how they would even get the darn thing onto a flat bed...as no flatbed could venture to the car!
Aside from the aluminum panels, in a few years her heirs will just sweep away a pile or rust-dust.
