Sub Frame Mount part number
« on: November 19, 2014, 17:01:35 »
I am planning to change the sub frame rubber mount for w113 280SL.

1) What would be the correct part number for the rubber mount?
2) Is the rubber mount interchangeable between W108 and W113?   I look on ebay and found they look very similar but W108 mount is much cheaper
3) Anyone has experience with aftermarket part for this item?  or is it better off getting genuine?

The actual mount is the same for 110, 111, 108 and 113 vehicles.  The metal plates on the 113 are the only difference as told to me by Tom at the classic center.  I think it has a 110 part number.

Save your metal plate and top attachment bolts. The only difference is the sedans do not have the metal plate. In addition, the four top mounting bolts on the W113 cars are longer to accommodate the thickness of the metal plate.
