I’m in the process of attempting to remove rattles in the doors of my 230. I've been relatively successful – however on refitting the window windows/cranks etc. I've noticed that the escutcheon and the nylon washer that fit between the winder/crank (small knob with silver which I believe is correct for a 230) and the door card are missing. It seems easy enough to obtain the escutcheons but not the nylon washers. Does anybody have any clues as to where I could obtain these please?
Also I've noticed the small screw covers for the door lock escutcheon are missing. Again these seem to be easily obtainable but has anybody found any hidden traps with them. At $36 a piece (times 4) they seem quite pricey – and that’s OK as long there no issues. But the lock escutcheons seem to be only $10.
