BBB Job 07-10
« on: April 28, 2015, 09:53:00 »
I have the Service Manual (BBB, starting 1959) dated May 1969. In the section of maintaining the injection pump there is a reference to Job 07-10 (supplementary air...). However that section is not present in my manual. In fact, the index for Group 07 has a jump between Job 07-03 and 07-12. Does anybody know where (which version of manual) to find the Job 07-10 description?

Unfortunately all shop manuals are not complete. The BBBs are first published when the cars are first produced. As production and time goes on, additional information is available to dealers in the form of factory supplements to the original BBB.  Eventually after production ends, the supplements end and the manuals become complete with all the supplements. At this point any new reprints of the manuals will have all the supplements and will be complete. Original Workshop Manuals supplied to the dealers were in "loose leaf form" so that the supplements could be added easily. Reprints for sale are usually hard bound.  So if you have an earlier version of the BBB without the supplement it may not be complete. Look in the "Forward" of your BBB, if you have the latest hardbound version, it should state "Supplements are no longer available for this Service  Manual".   My early BBB, does have Job #07-10, apparently it was added as a supplemental modification in 1962.  There are many pages of supplements and modification changes in the latest version of the original BBB.
