Soft top buffers
« on: June 06, 2015, 02:46:41 »
Does anyone have the part number for the small rubber buffers on the soft top frame at the top rear of the windows?? They appear to be similar to the ones mounted under the hood at the edges by the windshield. They are not shown in the parts books, or on the EPC. Any guidance would be appreciated.

Jon,
these buffers look similar to those under the hood but I believe they are not removable. Is that perhaps the reason why there is no p/n?
Or were you able to unscrew them??

I had no luck trying to unscrew them on my cars. But spoke with Mr Gallon and he indicated that he was able to take them off.

They do appear to be a part of the top brace, but I don't want to try too hard to take it apart. It is not a dire need.

Jon,
not unexpected but Mr. G is correct, they do unscrew! However they are different from the ones under the hood.
