I bought a set of Bosch 09023 ignition wires for my project (which happens to not be a Pagoda but that's not relevant to the discussion). They are copper core and measure about 1k resistance. Each of the metal ends says 1k ohm on it. EXCEPT the 1st wire with the L-shaped connector, it says 5k ohms. WHY?
?
FWIW the 5K L-shaped one doesn't work for my application because I'm using it on an M189 which doesn't have room for the L-shaped fitting -- plug is too deep for it to fit.
Why would a wire set have 1k on 5 of the plugs and 5k on one of the plugs???

ps - the car started on starting fluid but isn't getting enough fuel. Ignition sounded great. Stalls out after starting fluid. :-(
