So where in Africa is this Peter? I am aware of two Pagodas in Africa, one in Addis, Ethiopia, and one in Nairobi, Kenya but this one seems to be neither.

Cees,

When I was living in Nairobi one of my neighbors in Lakeview had a blue Pagoda. Is it the one you know? I also lived in Addis but I never saw a Pagoda there, I saw many Citroen DS and an Alfa Romeo Zagato though.

They may also be a few Pagodas in South Africa.

It could well have been the blue one, it was owned by Tom Awando some ten years ago.

Yes, South Africa has a good number of Pagodas, that's true.

Cees,

I was there between 2001 and 2005, so about the same period you're talking about. I don't remember the name of my neighbor but he was of Indian descent. Given the name, I don't think we're talking of the same person. May be there are more than one Pagoda in Nairobi. While I was there I also saw a w109 6.3 in a state of despair, but the owner, also of Indian descent, had plans to restore it. I also nearly bought a RHD W111 Cabrio, for a very descent price given where they are today. I'm still kicking myself not to have done so. I also heard of a W100 600 belonging to the Kenyatta family, but I never saw it.
