Hi Stick,

Is there a thrust plate or thrust bearing to prevent excessive end float? What would be the normal end float you expect? Looks like somewhere in the naighbourhood of 0.062" in your video.

The end float should be 0.1 to 0.24mm.
I haven't bothered getting the tape measure out to measure this particular end float but it's around 2mm.

I saw that once and they had the locating bearing in the wrong place. This isn't the same engine in another post, is it?

I also came across this once and found the thrust washers in the oil pan.
