Hey all,
I recently started driving my 250sl after having the engine rebuilt. When I first drove it, the transmission clunked on 1st and 2nd gear. Next morning when I tried driving the car, the transmission started slipping out of gear with any acceleration. My transmission fluid I discovered was low because the fluid was blowing out of the top of the transmission pump. I replaced the pump wing nut, which gave me a proper seal. I then refilled the transmission fluid while hot. Fluid level is wear it should be and my transmission is still slipping. Please help.
