Pivot point for Rotisserie
« on: September 07, 2015, 10:57:02 »
Hi All,
Just finished the bodywork of a long restoration on 1964 230 SL Auto RHD and want to use a rotisserie to paint, in particular, the underside of the car.
I need the position of the pivot point at the front and rear of the car, to avoid a bad result from a guess.
I would appreciate any photos of the front and rear pivot locations from any members who have pics of car in  suspension.
  Thanks,
  Mike.

My 230SL is off the rotisserie, this is a pic of my homemade rotisserie, it worked great.

Mike,

Stickandrudderman, Colin Fern, has all that data as I provided him with a set of technical drawings for just such an attachment to go with a rotisserie.  Maybe send him a PM.
