Hello fellow W111 owners,
I have suffered from a bit of restoration creep and the job of replacing my coolant sensor turned into a major task whereby I have stripped out my entire dash (as I was was also doing the heater box).
Like wwheeler I'd love to know the routing of the coolant sensor. Pictures would be ideal if anybody is feeling helpful.
Also my car has been fitted with a hazard light switch at some point but it was not wired up. I have an early 1963 cabriolet and a hazard warning system isn't shown on the wiring diagram.
I can't remember which of the 2 potential holes the wiper switch is located in. I can make the connector stretch to either.
Should the wiper switch be located to the left of the rotary light switch as shown in my picture or to the right where you can see the hazard switch is currently located?
I have searched through online ads of W111's for sale and seen the switch located in both places !!
