Buckled floor board
« on: October 06, 2015, 13:32:03 »
When pulling the rotted carpet out I noticed the flooring on both side of the car was buckled upwards. Looked under and saw where someone had placed a jack in a non frame section. Can anything be done to push it back down?

Use a piece of wood to protect it and knock it back down with a hammer.
Depending on how bad it is and if it is not creased it might pop back down easy .
Do you have a picture ?

Make that a substantial piece of 4x4 or 6x6 wood section.
Heavy mallet type hammer and hammer hard till floor is right.
Had that problem with a friends 280SL.

Thanks that's what I was figuring on but was still unsure as how to go about it. Tried to upload photos but it wouldn't let me do it.
