Wiring the hazard flasher is pretty straight forward
You can buy the 6 pin bushings and the 6 pin plug from MB.
R = Right Side Indicator (black wire with green runner)
L = Left side indicator (black wire with white runner)
You can pick up these two feeds from the multifunction switch plug under the dash.
30 is the '+' feed. I used the '+' feed on the door light switch, but ideally should come from the fuse box.
31 is Earth or Ground.
You have to interrupt the feed to the normal flasher. So, Cut the wire (terminal marked 15 on the flasher unit) and the live side goes to terminal 15 and the other side to 49a.
Job done.
The internals of this flasher unit are all mechanical. Our UK MB Club Technical Director just converted one to these for me to electronic operation. He used a multifunction relay from a W201, but that's another story.
